Setting Up Your Grand Opening Kit's Inflatable Balloon
You've put a lot of planning into your Grand Opening, hoping and praying that everything "goes off without a hitch". As part of your very first advertising campaign, you have ordered a company balloon. Now, one of the last things you have to do to ensure a rush of people is set up the grand opening kit you received through the mail. In it, is an inflatable rental balloon that needs to be set up to help attract your new customers and let people know where you are and that you are finally open for business!
Because your giant inflatable, is just that, inflated, it will need to be grounded and held up in some way. Because the ratio of your balloon rentals surface area to weight is so low, it is very topsy-turvy, particularly in the outdoors. Without some support, the entire inflatable balloon could blow away on an especially windy day. This might put a wrinkle in your grand opening plans.
Your inflatable advertisement needs to be stabilized in some way. Here are two options that work the best that are on hand at most hardware stores: ropes and tethers.
Using Rope
There are many different types of rope available. The most common are made out of polyester, cotton, nylon, or a blend of these. Ropes should only be used if you purchase a high quality rope, mountaineering-grade is recommended (made out of non-plastic materials). While your grand opening inflatable company balloon may consist of mostly air, that doesn't mean it will necessarily be easy to control and isn't powerful in certain conditions. Also, a higher-grade rope allows you to use a smaller rope, which will make anchoring your inflatable balloon less noticeable. Once you have chosen the best rope, it will need to be attached securely on both ends. This can be difficult in getting each rope to be secured at just the right length, but it is an important part of having a successful inflatable. Take your time. Be sure to use a heavy-duty knot, such as marine knots. If you plan on moving the inflatable before you return your grand opening kit in a box, it is probably a good idea to also take the time to mark the measurements you finally reach in some way.
Using Tethers
Tethering is the stronger option for ensuring your inflatable rental balloons don't fly away and stay upright. While they are made out of similar materials to rope, the way they are woven together (flat instead of rounded), makes them stronger. This is the kind of webbing people involved in extreme sports use. Because they are flat, they are also easier to adjust with the simple tool that comes with the strap, meaning you don't have to know how to tie marine knots to install your giant inflatable advertising balloon. Installing your grand opening inflatable balloon with tethers is so much easier than rope that one person could easily handle the job alone. This option for securing your ad balloon is much less likely to fail, ensuring that your grand opening is a smooth, yet giant, hit!

The grand piano's mechanism is horizontal so it's much more direct when you want to control the sound as opposed to the mechanism on an upright which is vertical... as for the sound... words are useless.... vive le grand!!!
