Beginning in the early 1800s, the German Schoenhut family manufactured inventive, high-quality toys, a generations-long tradition continued by Albert Schoenhut. Albert Schoenhut followed the family business of creating toys and he is famous for his toy pianos. Albert wasn't just an expert on manufacturing toy pianos. He brought Schoenhut to America, where his invention grew into the biggest and most lucrative toy company in the country. The traditional and elite spinets each have 25 keys while the larger deluxe spinet has 37. Every key is normal sized and spaced plus every piano is tuned chromatically within a two or three octave range. Every piano comes with a bench of the same color and design.

Please help musicians! Question about a toy piano...?

HELP! Trying to find the most realistic toy piano for my 2 year old daughter and high quality. Does anyone know the difference between the Schoenhut Concert Grand Piano with Opening Top and the regular Schoenhut Fancy Grand? There's a couple hundred dollar difference, and the concert grand's "appearance is better, but the sound??? Thanks so much for any info..

I would go into the store where you can see them and hear them in person, that way you can make the best comparison and decide which one is best suited for your daughter.
