Team Release
February 18, 2009 - 4:59pm

Dominick Casola has signed with Andy Belmont Racing to run a full 2009 NASCAR Camping World East Series Schedule. Casola comes to ABR as one of the most well recognized young up and coming drivers in the country today.

“Dominick has a tremendous amount of talent and I am thrilled to be able to work with him again,” said team manager Andy Belmont. “He has a bright future in the industry and we are looking for great things from him this season. The NASCAR Camping World East Series has a great heritage and tremendous competition; this will be no easy task.”

At just 21 years of age the Holmdel, New Jersey native has an extensive racing background that is well beyond his years. Dominick began racing on the tough New Jersey short tracks like Wall Stadium and has many victories to prove his talent. Dominick has also competed in the USAR Pro Cup Series and the ARCA RE/MAX Series just to name a few.

In 2004, Dominick set a record as the youngest driver to win in a full size stock car in New Jersey state history at the age of 17. Casola also posted a career best third-place ARCA finish with Andy Belmont Racing at Talledega Superspeedway in 2007.

“I am very excited about rejoining Andy Belmont Racing for 2009, as we enjoyed some success in the ARCA series,” said Dominick Casola. “Andy Belmont Racing is a strong team and I am looking forward to working with Andy and the entire team.  In 2009 we are going to try and win some races, run for rookie of the year and hopefully contend for the championship title.”
