What do you think about this idea for a band?
Hello everyone! A friend and I started a band! Im playing guitar and maybe some melodica (wind powered keyboard) and my friend is going to play keyboards. We havent started playing yet, but im also wondering what other instruments should we be looking for? Singer, bassist, drummer? We have a friend who can play cowbell (lol) and the keyboard has a drum machine (i know drum machine is super weak, but its all have for the meantime) i dont really think we need a bassist right away. Im going to play leads and my friend rhythm (would that work with a keyboard and guitar together? im pretty sure it would) what do you think about all this?
Definitely a drummer, but you guys could do just acoustic stuff, if you wanted. A normal band consists of a drummer, guitarist, lead singer, back-up vocals, and a bassist. The guitarist could be the lead singer, or the back-up singer. Or the bassist. Just saying... If you wanted. What you have right now is a great start. Good luck!
