Red Hat Society Members Get Custom Lapel Pins Dressed Up With Sparkling Add-Ons

There are few organizations, if any, more committed to having fun while celebrating friendship and womanhood than the Red Hat Society (RHS).  What began as a group of woman deciding to greet middle age with verve and humor, in 2001, grew to having 40,000 chapters worldwide within its first 5 years.

The RHS itself is made up of countless women, from all walks of life, each and every one of them unique in their own way.  So, having custom lapel pins designed to be as unique as them, and the chapters they are a part, of is the right and fun thing to do.

Lapel Pins Plus recently had the privilege of providing a customized lapel pin for yet another Red Hat Society group. We had to admit this lapel pin was the most unique pin we have produced in quite some time. The pin was unique for a couple of different reasons.

In a Word…Outstanding!

The most creative aspect that we are sure most people will notice is the way the danglers were used.  The group wanted to display high heal shoes dangling from the main "hat" pin. They even added an extra jump ring to allow one of the shoes to hang lower than the other.

As if the dancing ruby shoes did not add enough character, glitter enamel was used on both the main pin and the danglers.  Looking at the image above, you can see that the red glitter adds spunk to these pins.  The silver glitter toward the toes of the shoes adds even more character and contrast.

Last but not least, the RHS are far too vibrant to let us stop there.  They also included purple gemstones to top off the main pin and to accent the shoes. Other lapel pin design elements include the gold specks on the pin as well as the pins custom "hat" shape.
