How much is my Gulbransen piano worth?
I have an upright piano made by the Gulbransen company. Its in pretty good condition and the serial number is 373221. I want to sell it, but I just really don't know where to start with the price. Thanks for your help in advance.
It could be anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand. It's not possible to give an accurate appraisal without hearing it or opening it up and taking a look at inside.
The serial number makes it about 60 years old. Often pianos that old are not worth much, especially if they are in need of regulation or other work. Sometimes the cost of repairs and regulation will be worth more than the value of the piano.
